SODIUM BENZOAT BP 2013

Sodium Benzoate (E211) is a chemical food preservatives and widely used in acidic foods (pH <4.5). Sodium benzoate acts as pathogen and spoilage microorganism inhibitor in ready-to-eat (RTE) and ready-to-drink (RTD) products. Used as a fungicide and antibacterial preservative to extend the shelf life of the product.
