About Lautan Luas
Initiated our business as the importer and distributor of basic chemicals for the batik and food industries in Indonesia, the Company was founded on July 13, 1951 as Persekutuan Andil Maskapai Dagang dan Industri “Lim Teck Lee” (Indonesia), also known as NV Lim Teck Lee (Indonesia) Coy. Ltd. until the name was changed into PT Lautan Luas in 1965 and listed at Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) as a go public company on June 18, 1997 with the name of PT Lautan Luas Tbk. (LTLS).
For over 70 years, we serves as the provider of quality basic and specialty chemical products and services in Indonesia.
Today, we has evolved to become a distributor and manufacturer of basic and specialty chemicals, working with over 100 international principals, supplying more than 1,000 chemical products and serving some 2,000 industrial end-users throughout Indonesia and the Asia-Pacific region.
Operational Network of Lautan Luas is Headquartered in Jakarta with 4 (four) branch offices and 5 (five) representative offices located in major cities across Indonesia, 1 (one) regional office in Singapore to oversee the Company’s activities in China, Thailand, and Vietnam with 12 (twelve) manufacturing facilities in Indonesia, and 2 (two) manufacturing facilities in China.
Supporting business & services includes 3 (three) subsidiaries and 1 (one) affiliated company engaged in laboratory services, supply chain logistics, information technology, and water treatment solutions.

History
1951
The Company was established under the name of NV Lim Teck Lee (Indonesia) Coy. Ltd
1965
The Company had its name changed into PT Lautan Luas.
1969
Built the first private sulfuric acid manufacturing facility in Indonesia.
1970s
Established more manufacturing facilities, expanded distribution network, and focusing specialty chemicals.
1997
Executed Initial Public Offering (IPO) at the Indonesia Stock Exchange with 1,560,000,000 listed shares.
1999
Expanding regional market presence through establishment of a subsidiary in Singapore.
2001
Spin-Off the Logistics Division into LINC Group as the Company’s subsidiary and independent profit centre.
2003
Established the first world-class manufacturing facilities located in China, which are further upgraded into 2 (two) plants.
2005
Opened a regional office in Bangkok, Thailand.
2007
Opened a regional office in Shanghai, China.
2008
Established manufacturing facilities in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
2010
Developed CSR programs in housing, water management, education, and disaster recovery areas. Entered the food and beverage industry by establishing PT Lautan Natural Krimerindo.
2013
Implemented ERP program to enhance the Company's information technology and operational efficiency.
2016
Appointed as the organizer and manager of Bonded Logistics Center (PLB) with excellent system readiness as well as track record with Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) Certificate.
2017
Obtained ISO 9001:2015 for Quality Management System, ISO 140001:2015 for Environmental Management System and OHSAS 18001:2007 For Health & Safety Management System.
2018
Merger of our subsidiaries which include: PT Pacinesia Chemical Industry and its subisidiaries;
2019
Merger of PT Dunia Kimia Jaya with PT Advance Stabilindo Indonesia.
