description
Chlorinated Polyethylene (CPE 135A) is an impact strength modifier used in plastic formulations to reduce the brittleness of rigid PVC, preventing products from breaking upon impact even at low temperatures.
This material offers excellent weather and UV resistance against sunlight and ozone, making it ideal for outdoor applications, while inherently providing a flame retardant effect due to its chlorine content. Featuring high compatibility for seamless integration with PVC resins and other additives during the extrusion process, CPE 135A is widely utilized in the construction industry for window and door profiles, pressurized water pipes, electrical conduits, and wall siding.
Furthermore, it is applied in the cabling industry as insulation and outer jackets, as well as in the automotive and rubber sectors for the production of seals, gaskets, flexible hoses, and vehicle interior components.
